Healthier Life-

Use these 6 tips for a better doctor's visit.

We're helping you to make managing your health easier with this guide to a more personal annual doctor's visit.

01

FAMILY health HISTORY

Does your doctor know your family's health history? It may be time to share this information because it helps them better monitor your overall health. You should revisit this topic with your doctor each year.

02

don't be shy

Your doctor has probably seen and heard it all... don't be afraid to tell your doctor what's really going on with your health. If your doctor becomes judgmental, find a new one!

03

medications

Have you been taking medications for more than a year? It may be time to discuss when you can be expected to come off the prescription. Most people do not ask this question, you should.

04

don't expect medication

Most health issues can be solved with lifestyle or diet changes. So if you can, ask your doctor to allow you time to make changes and come back for a check-in before you jump right into taking prescribed medicines.

05

EAT HOURS BEFORE

The foods we eat impacts test results like blood pressure, urine, etc., so consider eating a few hours before your appointment or eat after your appointment.

06

ALWAYS GET THESE 3 tests

Each annual appointment should include a minimum of three tests: urine, blood pressure, and blood. These three tests can help your doctor better monitor your health for many diseases.

Plan Heal Research Result-

98% of people who used these tips during their doctor's visit reported they felt more knowledgeable, 89% reported their doctors were more engaged.
